Berry Kombucha Margaritas

Tart and sweet, refreshing berry Kombucha stands in for most of the lime juice in this modern twist on the classic Margarita; Berry Kombucha Margaritas. With or without the traditional salted rim, you'll reach for this on hot days all summer long!

  • ice
  • 1/2 lime cut into 4 wedges
  • 6 ounces tequila preferably reposado
  • 1 ounce Cointreau or Triple Sec
  • 1/2 cup mixed berries fresh or frozen
  • 16 ounces berry kombucha chilled

optional: kosher salt


    • If a salted rim is desired, pour kosher salt into a plate, use a lime wedge to moisten the rim of two tall cocktail glasses, then press the wet rims into the salt. Fill both glasses with ice. If you did not salt the rims, squeeze 1 lime wedge into each glass.
      Add the tequila and Cointreau or Triple Sec to a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake until the outside of the shaker is chilled. Strain into the ice filled glasses. Top off each glass with with berry kombucha. Garnish with an additional lime wedge and serve immediately.
