A Harry & David Mother’s Day Giveaway {Giveaway Closed}

Harry & David Mother's Day Tower of Treats Gift Deluxe Giveaway | www.foodiewithfamily.com

Harry & David sent me a Mother’s Day Tower of Treats Gift Deluxe (ARV $59)  to review and has offered to give an identical gift tower to one lucky Foodie with Family reader in celebration of Mother’s Day. I do so love Harry & David.

You know ‘Mom’ is ‘Wow’ upside down, right?

How perfect is that? Every mother is aware how very upside down and wowed you spend most of your days. We think we’ve gone down the rabbit hole with diapers and spit-up, but every single day proves that you ain’t seen nothing yet. It’s the beginning of  a lifetime of your heart being a dishrag that just keeps sopping up love and being wrung out just in time to soak up more love that you didn’t see coming.

…Just in time for Mother’s Day, my good friends at Harry & David ride to the rescue once again with a perfect gift to give to a deserving mother in your life, whether it’s yours, your spouse’s, your own, or a really nice lady down the street who mothers all the lonely kids. THIS mom is telling you that a stack of pretty boxes filled with treats of all kinds and tied together with a beautiful satin ribbon is a splendiferous way to show your appreciation. Have you TRIED their Royal Riviera pears yet? Let me explain how good the pears are… Each opportunity I’ve had to review and give away one of Harry & David’s gifts, I’ve deliberately chosen one with the pears because they rock my world. There is no other pear that is so tender and juicy that it’s easiest to eat if you cut it in half and scoop the flesh with a spoon. Seriously. What mom wouldn’t love that?

It’s not just full of pears, though; look at all the goodies in there…

Most of us have more than one mama for whom to buy or make a gift.  If you’re stuck for ideas, you must hop over to Harry&David and look at their selection of Mother’s Day gifts. If your mom loves gardening, cheesecake, fruit, wine, cheese, flowers, tea, candy, chocolates, cake, cookies, wreaths, and birdhouses, they have you covered and there’s still seven days to order and have your gift arrive on time!

The giveaway is now closed. Congratulations to Terah, the college student! Please check your email and get back to me quickly. Your mama is going to be thrilled!

    • Deborah says

I would like to win this for my daughter. She has had 3 tubal pregnancies and been through heartbreaking health issues, finally a hysterectomy, and is unable to have children now at 38. She has “adopted” her nieces and nephews and even volunteers as a cub scout den mother for the 3 (oops now 4) boys in the family. She never gets mother day presents and this would be very touching as a token of appreciation for all she does.

  1. Anne says

I know it’s wrong…but I’d totally want this for myself. Of course, I would share with my husband and children.

  2. Sherry says

While I would love this for myself, I would definitely share it with my mom and my family. My mom because, let’s face it, she’s been there for me through thick and thin. And now, she’s there for her grandchildren. I would share with my family because, quite honestly, without my husband there wouldn’t be any children. And I would share with my children because I do everything in my capability for them. I strive to be the best mom I can because of them. And even though I’ve heard them say on occassion that I’m the meanest mom ever (haven’t we all heard that one)I love them more and more each day.

  3. marilyn says

I cried the other night…my son called and said he would be flying home to spend Mother’s day with me. Quite a sacrifice of time, travel, money and I would love to give him the gift when we spend the day together.

  4. Debbie Marshall says

Definetly to my mom who I love and admire. I have never known a stronger big hearted women in my life. She 73 years old and has worked all her life to raise 6 kids. She still works cleaning other peoples houses and babysits 3 grandson 6 days a week. She has had a hard life but never complains. She would give you the shirt off her back if you needed it. I have watch her many time go without so that her children had what they needed. I feel she deserves the best in life and I know she would love to receive this gift.

  5. Anita says

I’d like to nominate my new daughter-in-law, Amy. She married my son on New Year’s Eve, which blended her son and my grand-daughter into a new family. She has boundless energy and enthusiasm for her new parenting duties and works full-time, too, with job travel included. Here’s to Amy with love and respect!

  6. Hannah B. says

Turns out my parents are possibly moving to Indonesia this summer- I would love to give my Mom a fancy Mother’s Day gift before that happens!

  7. Becky says

Oh! I would love to keep this for myself, but I may give in to guilt and send it to a dear momma friend(who may share it with me)! The best of both worlds.

  8. Daria says

Honestly, I would like it for me! I would share of course. I have sent, but never received anything from h&d.

  9. Lauren says

I would have to give this to my own mother. My firstborn is 7 days away from turning one and in this past year I have learned to appreciate my mom more knowing what it’s like firsthand. A beautiful giveaway!

  10. Dorothea says

I would want to send this to my mom – she’d be so thrilled! I was just thinking that I’d bake her favorite brownies to send to her, but a gift from Harry & David would definitely send her over the top!

  11. Conrad says

I’d like this for my wife. I came into her life rather late (for both of us) but, as a result, I have the greatest family ever! She raised two boys practically alone who turned out to be great people. They’ve married and are each raising their kids in the style taught them by their mother. Talk about wonderful grandkids — 3 boys, 1 girl (who’s the apple of my eye)!!! I really had no family before — but now I’m “complete” thanks to her. She’s a wonder….and I love her dearly.

  12. Kim says

I would keep it for myself. I always forget to pamper myself because I’m busy taking care of everyone else in the family.

  13. Ed says

As much as I’d LOVE to have this for myself, I’d really like to be able to give something nice to a very special co-worker who is a single mother raising a daughter AND granddaughter on one income. I’m embarrassed to say we’ve all been struggling a bit at paying the bills and recently she found out I wasn’t able to buy groceries and took me with her and paid my bill. I’d like to give her something she might not buy for herself and her family.

  14. Kristie M. says

I would send this to my sister. She’s a single mom raising 2 special needs kids and deserves a special treat.

  15. LindaB says

It would be for my Mom. Get your hankie ready! She’s 79, has stage 4 cancer and congestive heart failure. Thank God her Dementia is so bad she doesn’t remember it half the time!! Bless her heart, She’d be thrilled! Then forget about it 20 minutes later!! Thanks for the chance!

  16. Beth S. says

I would love this for myself… I’d share it with my sister, if only she lived closer than 700 miles away.

  17. Connie Thompson says

My daughter, she is a great mom, works as a therapist with at
risk youth and really deserves a treat.

  18. Andi says

My Mom. She’s a Mom to more than just her biological children. She has young moms and girls with small children who live at her house. She never knew God would have her start parenting all over again. As she is being a grandparent to her young grandchildren, she is back raising small kids and wild teenagers again. She is an amazing woman with out a selfish bone in her body. How I would love to bless her….

  19. says

What a lovely giveaway! I adore Harry & David and as much as I would loooove to keep this amazing basket all for little ol’ me… I would give it to my mother-in-law. She helps me so much and so often with my girls. She also cares for her elderly mother, runs her own household, works full-time and more. I feel she spreads herself too thin at times, doing so much for everyone else and not enough for herself. So she deserves a special treat and so much more!

  20. LAMusing says

This year Mother’s day lands on my mom’s birthday! She’ll be 82 and I would love for her to have something special. She’s beat cancer just a few years ago and I try to keep her weight up, so the goodies would be perfect. And the pears would keep it healthy! I’d buy one for her myself, but I gave up my business to care for her, and now that she’s doing better I’ve found it’s pretty hard to get work in this economy…. and I’m no spring chicken myself :P

  21. Terah says

I would love to give this to my mom. As a poor college student I could never afford that on my own.

  22. Joleen says

My mother-in-law has been a great blessing to me for over 40 years and I’d love to surprise her with this lovely gift.

  23. Kristina N. says

While I would love this for myself, my mother-in-law could not be more amazing. Not only has she blessed me with my husband, but she’s done it completely without reservations and has welcomed me as her daughter. I would love to surprise my mother-in-law with this gift.

  24. Kimberly P. says

I would send this to my mom. She lives pretty far away from me, and this gift would brighten her day! She hasn’t been feeling well for quite a while and what better way to feel some long distance love than to receive a surprise gift basket in the mail?! Thanks for an opportunity to pass on some sunshine on Mother’s Day. Love your blog! :)

  25. LynnG says

For sure, I’d give it to my mother. And she’s so generous that I know she’ll share it with the rest of us!

  26. Erika Q says

My mom is a dynamo: always up and going, going, going, taking care of my nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends alongside her (grown) kids. I would love to give this to her so that she can sit down and relax with some delicious treats! Thanks!

  27. says

I would love to win this for my Mom. Lord knows she deserves it for putting up with my brother and me over the years. We certainly didn’t make it easy for her. She is a total bad ass and the only thing she loves more than wine is good food so it would be perfect.

  28. sarah k. says

I would like to win it for my sister, who after our mom passed away from cancer stepped up and was a rock during such a hard time, I couldn’t have gone through everything without her.
