How cool, a recipe that avoids pitting at least one pound of them. I love clafouti but never thought of making a cherry one. Sue, I don&#039;t know about the almond meal, though it&#039;s true the almond flavor would be nice, and it would then be gluten-free and grain free if one of those things matters to you. Report back if you try it, I&#039;ll follow this thread and I&#039;d be interested to know whether that works.]]></description>

But I do have some lovely German bottled cherries from Trader Joe&#039;s that are begging to be used, and I do have some almond flavoring, so I think I will try that.  Question...no heavy cream, but I have light cream and whole milk. What do you think about 3/4 c. light cream and 1/4 c. milk?]]></description>
